I just got back from a trip home. I had a really busy vacation/holiday. Here are some of the things I did despite suffering from terrible hayfever:

– Did some freelance work

– Went to the Tate Britain twice

– Went to the wonderful new Saachi Gallery off the King’s Road

– Went to the Science Museum to see 1001 inventions of the Muslim World

– Caught up with friends

– Spent time with my niece

– Reconnected with my old publishing buddies

– Went to a birthday party in Sussex with four of my favorite publishing buddies

– Met a freshly-baked baby (by this I mean a newborn baby) named Pheonix

– Enjoyed the flowers at Kenwood

– Enjoyed the flowers at Queen Mary’s Rose Garden in Regent’s Park

– Saw the ‘Dirty Dancing – The Musical’ on the West End stage and sang along with the cast!

– Saw a chick flick with my mom (‘Letters from Juliet’) and most surprisingly, enjoyed every minute of it!

– Took the Eurostar to Paris to visit my in-laws

– Saw the Champs Élyseés in Paris transformed into a farm!

– Visited Monet’s garden in Giverny, France

– Went to a very English Garden Party

– Bid farewell to a wonderful man and an inspiration. He was one of the people who conducted my wedding ceremony – may he rest in peace

I will put up some posts of some of these things (when I have a moment), along with my photos!
